The Chartiers Township Fire Department is 100% Volunteer. The Volunteers are all local residents who must spend considerable hours in training to be able to serve the community as fire fighters. The Volunteer Fire Department receives annual funds from Township’s General Fund, which is currently set at $74,100. The Fire Department must still raise a substantial portion of their own funds, so please support your local fire department with their various fundraisers and annual fund drive. The Fire Hall has a social room for rental (weddings, showers, special gatherings) and is conveniently located at 2450 West Pike Street, across from the Municipal Building.
