Zoning Hearing Board

The Zoning Hearing Board is Comprised of five members and two alternate members, the Chartiers Township Zoning Hearing Board assures fair and equitable application of the Township’s Zoning Ordinance. The Zoning Hearing Board acts as a decision making body for hearings related to certain zoning regulations, authorizing special exemptions, interpretations and appeals of the Zoning Ordinance.

Meetings are open to the public and scheduled the 3^rd Monday of each month at 7:30p.m. in the Municipal Building. 

Copies of the Zoning Ordinance for Chartiers Township can be purchased at the municipal office for $25.

The duty of administering and enforcing the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance is conferred upon the Zoning Officer, Harold Ivery.
